H.E. Pujya Swami Rameshwarananda Giri Maharaj es un monje hindú de la Sagrada Orden de los Swamis (Dashanami Sampradaya), Mahant de la Atmananda Mission, y representante de la Comunidad Védica de España y director de la Escuela Europea de Yoga Vedanta y Meditación). Es ministro de culto, consejero para el Diálogo Interreligioso y Relaciones con las Administraciones de la Federación Hindú de España, y asesor espiritual del Hindu Forum of Europe.
Asimismo, preside el Foro Interreligioso Internacional Transcendence y es representante de las Religiones de la India tanto en el Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders, en el Parliament of World Religions, como en la Conferencia Internacional Mediterránea de la Multaqa (UNESCO). Son numerosas sus participaciones en diferentes foros nacionales e internacionales, así como en equipos de investigación académica sobre temas relacionados con el diálogo interreligioso y promoción de la libertad religiosa.
Como presidente de Fundación PHI y vicepresidente de Fundació Mediambiental, Swami Rameshwarananda concibió y construyó CampusPHI, una iniciativa innovadora que integra proyectos tecnológicos en el terreno del desarrollo sostenible, la cooperación internacional al desarrollo y el programa Universidad de la Consciencia, siendo el conocimiento propio y la meditación los elementos transversales. Dicho proyecto, situado en el norte de Extremadura, sustenta la condición de Campus Internacional de Excelencia.
H.E. Pujya Swami Rameshwarananda Giri Maharaj is a Hindu monk of the Sacred Order of the Swamis (Dashanami Sampradaya), Mahant of the Atmananda Mission, and representative of the Vedic Community of Spain, as well as the director of the European School of Yoga Vedanta and Meditation. He is a religious minister, advisor for Interreligious Dialogue and Relations with Administrations of the Hindu Federation of Spain, and spiritual advisor of the Hindu Forum of Europe.
Additionally, he presides over the Transcendence International Interreligious Forum and represents the Religions of India both at the Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders, the Parliament of World Religions, and the Mediterranean International Conference of the Multaqa (UNESCO). He has participated in numerous national and international forums, as well as academic research teams on topics related to interreligious dialogue and the promotion of religious freedom.
As president of the PHI Foundation (Fundación PHI) and vice president of the Environmental Foundation (Fundació Mediambiental), Swami Rameshwarananda conceived and built CampusPHI, an innovative initiative that integrates technological projects in the fields of sustainable development, international development cooperation, and the University of Consciousness program, with self-knowledge and meditation as cross-cutting elements. This project, located in the north of Extremadura, holds the status of an International Campus of Excellence.
